Hi all,
a week or so ago, I recreated my blind stuff and audio stuff folders in windows explorer. In internet explorer, I added my nls library's catalog and ordering site to my favorites. I tried moving my blind stuff and audio stuff folders in to my favorites folders. Thats one thing about xp, the folders in add favorites is only in internet explorer, and not in the windows folder. I selected the 2 folders and coppied them to the clipboard, but when I went to internet explorer to paste the 2 folders from windows explorer, they didn't get pasted. I want to get all the blind websites into my blind stuff folder, and audio sites back in my audio stuff folder. I tried to copy my library for the blinds website into my blind stuff folder, but when I hit control c to copy it, it dinged at me and wouldn't do it? what's the problem here? thanks,
wonderwoman

The favourites folder is located somewhere else in XP. You'd have to use windows explorer to move the folders. I think your favourites should be in c:documents and settingsuserAfavourites.

ok, I'll try that, thanks, man, this is like a house where someone changed the rooms on me, and none of the rooms are where they were before.

Yeah the favrits folder in xp is in your profile.
in run type: %userprofile% making sure to include the %s.
Then press f and enter on the folder, its your favrits, just copy and paste like on anyother folder.
Yeah you will take time to get used to xp from 98, just pm me if you have a question.

I found the favorites under hp owners, a weird place to find it. it was in several places as a matter of fact, under default users, and hp owner, and I think under all users in the documents and settings folder. Thanks anyway ben, your help is most appreciated, wonderwoman

I don't think it'll come on your user if you put it in defult user, maybe allusers.
Anyway just go into documents and settings and find your name or owner and find the favrits folder in there.
Could be wrong, and if you've got it to work then fine.

You are "hp owner" by default, look under that for the favorites folder. If you want to change "hp owner" to your name you can do that through start menu -> control panel -> ser accounts
